They? were largely hedonisitc and self-indulgent, they absolved themselves of personal responsibility, put two fingers up to ANY form of authority and set us on the road to ruin. Many of the social ills we suffer from today, began in the sixties with the 'Turn off, tune out, drop out,' mentality. It was ALL about being self indulgent & selfish. Moral standards were destroyed in the 'anything goes' culture. There are NO standards now.

It was great to see people beginning to oppose the establishment for a change. I was a 60 child and would have never had it any other way. I would not trade in my life now, to add 10 or even 20 extra years of my life, to have missed the 60s generation and and all its hope and love for one another. Our generation had character

Some of the same people that protested the War are now in Washington promoting war all over the world. The USA has been the aggressor in every war since the Korean War in 1952 and if you do not know we still have thousands of troops still on the North/South Korean Border in 2012. Nothing will change in this world as long as oil money rules the world!?
